Review of Odd Thomas (2013) by James V — 01 Jun 2014
So I finally sat down to watch this on Netflix. I would give the movie more credit, but I found it a bit scattered and not what I hoped for. Actually the only reason I am not giving it one star is because the ending caught me off guard.
Pretty much it though. I like Anton Yelchin really. I have seen him in other things, cant recall off the top of my head, and honestly I think the character is a good match for him. I actually liked William Defoe as well.
Addison Timlin was ok, but I think I had more of a problem with how slutty they had to dress Stormy. When they were walking through the crowd at the end they had her black bra all exposed. She is supposed to be this sharp, witty sidekick type and she really doesn't pull off well.
I never read the books, so I don't have much to compare.
