Review of Odd Thomas (2013) by Darren G — 19 Aug 2013

I've read the complete series from Dean Koontz, so when I happened to see this movie advertised on a random web site I frequent, I was shocked as I had hither to heard absolutely nothing of its existence.

Having loved the books, I went into the movie with low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the movie followed the original story line. I thought the actor/actress choices were spot on for how they were portrayed in the novel.

My family, who had not read the books, liked but did not love the movie. They thought that Odd and Stormy were a bit weird, attributing bad acting, but I believe they played the parts almost exactly as the novel did.

Kudos to the writers and director!
