Review of Odd Thomas (2013) by Brandon C — 04 May 2014
Loved, loved, loved, loved this movie. Of course, I am a huge fan of the books, and this movie gets everything right. The cast is amazing, Anton Yelchin perfectly embodies, the humor and heroism of Odd, Willem Dafoe is what I pictured Wyatt Porter looking but he is great as always, Addison Timlin is the perfect Stormy.
What I love is how much of Koontz novel remains intact, they picked most of the dialogue straight from the novel and I loved that too. My only complaint is the dimished role of Ozzie in the movie, he is a central character to the books and Patton Oswalt certainly seemed more than capable of playing him perfectly.
