Review of Oculus (2014) by Jack W — 27 Aug 2014
A sad attempt to stray away from the cliché way horror movies have been lately, the dread created by the supernatural force make no sense whatsoever and goes on generally unexplained. Horror in this movie is ineffective, at best, and laughable at worst.
The boring plot doesn't make up for the fact that it is not scary. Good acting and good writing, but if any sequels are to exist, it needs serious work.
