Nothing new with the story about some old furnitures being haunted and brings horror to the family. But what makes Oculus different is it tells the story of the mirror and there's no over the top scary monsters that come out of the mirror with heads revolving 180 degrees.
But it still maintained its eerie environment. The editing, the cinematography achieved its goal; and its very very sad ending.
