Much better than I remembered this. It would have been rated higher except for the tendency to go for really stupid broad Roger Moorian jokes (the Tarzan yell bit is embarrassing) that undercut the whole mood of the film (ditto the comedy cutaways during chases).
Louis Jordan is okay as the main villian, I just wish the evil Soviet Genera (Steven Berkoff) who was so god as the bad guy in "Beverly Hills Cop" would have been given more to do. He truely would have made a great foe for 007.
