Review of Octopussy (1983) by Sumukh J — 19 Aug 2010
Bond in India, Berlin, insane stunts on planes, cars, train tracks, and Roger Moore dressed as a clown? Even with that last part, it is still a pretty decent and enjoyable Bond film, on par with "For Your Eyes Only".
There are the usual negatives though. The story barely makes sense, and the theme song this time is completely unmemorable (who sang it?), but they really went all out with the stunt pieces this time, from the small airplane scene for the opening, and the final plane scene are the best stuff the Bond team had done up to then.
