Review of Octopussy (1983) by Corey N — 22 Dec 2010
The second to last Bond film that stars Roger Moore is what you expect from the others in the series. Bond gets involved in plot when a fellow agent turns up dead with a Faberge egg. This leads him to India with a plot between Russian agents and a group called Octopussy.
That is correct they call themselves the Octopussy. A group of women living on a island who deal with crime on a lower level. Bond of course loves this island. And of course they aren't really bad.
They do help Bond capture and stop the villains plot. You get what you expect from a Bond film with car chases, explosions, crazy stunts, villains and beautiful women. This film overall has a bit of cheese to it compared to the other Roger Moore Bond films.
But it is expected at times. This is the weakest film in the Moore Bond series but it is still a fun watch. If you liked the other Bond films then check this out. Worth a watch.
