When I first watched this I was hoping Octopussy would be the 1st female mastermind super villain but that was not the case. It gets better in the second half but that plane scene in the end really ruined it for me as well as the Tarzan scream.
The marketplace and palace fights were pretty good. All in all it could have been so much better than it was. Octopussy had the potential to be one of the greatest Bond Villains of all time. Think about it.
She had a dangerous pet and an well trained army of traveling, circus-performing assassins with dangerous well trained circus animals. Please reintroduce her in a new film keeping in line with the original film/story.
No plot holes.
