Review of Ocean's Twelve (2004) by Jake C — 25 Mar 2012
Ocean's Tweve brought nothing new to the tabel other than a new situation and some new actors. The first film was great, it captured a great heist film and it wa struly enjoyable, however this basically gives us the same thing with some new tricks from Sodenbergh and it was just a huge let down if you ask me.
Was it a bad film, no it was not. But it still was not anything mor ethan a decent heist movie with the same A-list cast from the first. The plot is more complex then it needs to be and the characters are just here to be here while Clooney, Pitt, Zeta-Jones, and Damon are where the movie really focuses itself.
If you want a great sequel to the first movie this is not it, but if you want a decent equel that does do some worthy stuff that makes it watchable then by all means check it out.
