Review of Ocean's Thirteen (2007) by Alison O — 30 Nov 2013
An improvement on Ocean's Twelve (although it could hardly be any worse) the addition of Al Pacino to the cast brings an injection of new purpose to the franchise. The smug back-slappery of the second instalment has been jettisoned in favour of a more sturdy plotline played most definitely for laughs.
A little overlong, you're left thinking that this is a satisfying conclusion to a franchise that should be left to go out on a high note.
