Review of Ocean's Thirteen (2007) by Brad E — 02 Feb 2012
Less witty than its predecessors but more accessible, and with no plot twists thrown in, it's a solid heist movie. Unfortunately, it relies on the personality of the first and has no style of its own.
All its scenes seem somehow less devoid of flash or style than Ocean's Eleven, and the entire thing feels like a friend elbowing you saying, "Remember that stuff we did a while back? Wasn't that fun?" If you like the Ocean's movies, this is better than the horrible Ocean's Twelve, and you can't go wrong with it.
Just don't expect it to be anything more.
