This movie definitely won't appeal to everyone. I liked the acting. The actors were great. I am not too familiar with Jenny Slate's work but I thought she was great in this role as Donna. I think I actually fell in love with Max, Jake Lacy.
He was so good in this film. Everytime he was on screen he was so good. They worked well together. I didn't find Donna's comedy act appealing or funny but it worked with the story. The writing wasn't perfect.
I usually like to emotionally connect with the film I am watching and with this I didn't. It wasn't hard to get through and it is pretty short but just didn't connect with the story. Some of it was really good then some was alright.
It's not a must own for me.
