Review of Nutbag (2000) by Patrick S — 04 Sep 2007
The titular Nutbag is a serial killer who vents his sexual frustration and nihilistic world view by talking to his pet tarantula Heinrich, as well as murdering (mostly) women. Director Nick Palumbo's pathetic attempt at a disturbing study of a serial killer a la Henry is more often than not unintentionally funny; and the scenes that aren't laughable are simply boring, annoying, tedious, or downright nerve-racking.
Simply averting your eyes won't ease your discomfort either, as Nutbag also has one of the worst scores in cinematic history, which was more than likely either stolen wholesale from a Sega CD game or composed by an 8-year-old on a Casio keyboard.
