Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Stephanie P — 27 Feb 2011
Watched this movie only because I came across it at the video store and it had something to do with the beetles so I bought it. This movie is the story of John Lennon pre beetles era. It's about his exposure to rock music by his mother and it's more importantly about the strange relationship between his aunt his mother and himself.
It was emotional and tragic and beautifully intriguing . I wanted it to keep going and never end. There is also parts In it about the start of the beetles but it is truly all about John and his amazing young life in Liverpool.
If u are a Lennon fan you mist see it and appreciate it . This movie was totally under exposed and should have had sone kind of recognition that it didn't get at all.
