Review of Now, Voyager (1942) by Warren H — 22 Aug 2009
What a film! A classic, classy melodrama of the first rate. Bette Davis is in fine form as Charlotte Vale, the ugly spinster turned beautiful traveler in this wonderful film. She is supported by a dutiful cast, with a stand out performance by Claude Rains as the dotor who brings her out of her shell.
One couldn't ask for a better viewing experience. Three cheers for Bette Davis!
