Review of Nothing to Lose (1997) by Chucho E. Q — 29 Feb 2008

I first saw this movie on board of a Bulgarian bus, in the middle of the night, traveling to a beach resort. The TV set was miniscule, the display terrible, the sound very low and it was all subtitled in Bulgarian, but we were seating just in front, bored and eager to arrive.

.. I've never been a Martin Lawrence's fan, but the contrast between the two characters and actors in this unlikely pair is just irresistible! Also the fact that I had to suppress a little my laughs in order not to disturb other sleeping passengers added some spice to it.

. I've seen it again some months ago, and I equally enjoyed the part where miserable Nick Beam gets his revenge via the surveillance camera...
