Review of Nothing Sacred (1937) by James H — 12 Jun 2009
** (out of four).
Carole Lombarde is a woman who believes she is dying. March is a New York City reporter who brings her to New York where she becomes the brave toast of the town.
Too uncomfortable to be funny at times and wildly uneven. For now I am leaving my review at 2 stars, however, I was just noticing that the running time is listed at 1 hr and 40 minutes. The rented version I watched ran only 75 minutes. The cut out segments may have filled in some of the gaping holes that I feel are missing. My review could change.
