An astoundingly bitter screwball comedy. Ben Hecht's script is one long, anguished blood howl against the news media and it just goes to show that the more things change...
This would make a great triple feature alongside Ace In The Hole and Network. Maybe throw in A Face In The Crowd and Absence of Malice for an all day festival.
