This film is narrated by Judi Dench's character, Barbara, a lonely spinster who will stop at nothing to have some female companionship. Cat Blanchett plays a troubled and alluring teacher who finds herself involved with a student.
The movie kept its pace nicely, but didn't really astound or wow me in anyway. Nice supporting performance by Bill Nighy.
