Review of Not Without My Daughter (1991) by Evyan R — 02 Aug 2007
This movie seems to be propaganda to further hurt Iranian culture in American eyes. Yes I'm sure some households are like that and often this hostage act happens. But it was just shoved in your face as women as fearful beings.
It didn't sit well with me. I love the story and the performances but when they see the American flag and she says "We're home!" I almost puked on myself.
