Well I don't know what exactly "Hollywood" wants, but what I know is that Shane's movie definitely reached the audience and generation that "Hollywood" is constantly trying to attain. I mean this movie got the HIGHEST per theater average of any indie film (that's got to mean something).
I LOVE this movie personally which is why I went to go see it in theaters and bought the movie on Amazon! I can say that this movie made me feel UNCOMFORTABLE, AWKWARD, WEIRD, and EMOTIONAL,but hey, that's what movies are made for right? To make the audience to feel something, anything! If it didn't make the audience feel anything, then that's when I say a movie has failed to do it's job! I don't regret spending a single penny on his movie. I fully support Shane and his projects later to come in the future <3.
