Review of Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) by Rob S — 05 Jun 2007
Having seen both Herzogs and Murnau's original, I have to say that this is my favorite. Klaus Kinski does a great job (of course) playing the role of Dracula (he's batshit crazy anyways!) and the film has a quiet demeanor that makes it even more of a good thriller.
The ending shot that involves an ode/mockery to Westerns seems fulfilling. One of the better Vampire movies I've seen.
