Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Devon M — 07 Apr 2010
A classic film. yet is it great? modern audiences would find it hard to appreciate. still this original german silent film (with a live score) based on bram stoker's dracula does have moments of cinematic brilliance.
it's 1922. much can be forgiven. the play with shadows, the influences of german expressionism, even the story itself - make this early horror film worth a while. creepy.
