Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Dave R — 12 Oct 2010
After almost 90 years, still the best version of Dracula. Max Schreck (aided some unknown genius of a makeup artist) seems authentic, as if a vampire was actually filmed. There are many other perfectly judged details, the one that really sticks in my mind being the written language Orlock and Knock use.
