Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Noah B — 08 Nov 2010
This interpretation of Bram Stroker's "Dracula" is probably among the most accurate depiction to make it to the screen. Clearly the names have been changed, but the central story is very close to the original work.
The ending, like many versions, has been altered, but not in an uncompromising fashion. The silent film makes it original, and the eerie score is perfect. It certainly ranks among the best vampire films of all time - something that the sparkling vampire films can only dream of.
