Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Benjamin W — 03 Jan 2012
While not a completely accurate representation of Bram Stoker's famous work, this film does merit a viewing. It is interesting to note that some of the cinematic tricks we take for granted now (like stop-motion) were completely new in 1922.
In fact, the amount of artistic creativity in terms of special effects, on location settings, and the photography in general just amazes me considering how new the medium of film was.
