Review of North Country (2005) by Sonja C — 09 Feb 2008
The message of this story was really important. Which makes it a bit sad that this was just another American film that had too smooth looking actors, a very probable plot and characters that were made very two-dimensional.
Charlize Theron is a good actress but somehow no matter how well she does she is always too smooth... too Hollywood. But the movie gets points for bringing up an important subject. Even in a Hollywood way.
