Review of Noroi: The Curse (2005) by Arun G — 26 May 2016
Depends on what your idea of horror actually is. If its jumpscares or pure atmospheric horror, this ain't for you. In this movie, the horror is mostly implied. Hence, the viewer does not get a clear picture of the demon per se, but the fear factor grows indirectly.
The writing is consummate and supported well by the cast. As a horror junkie, I loved getting behind each clue as the movie progressed, but the laughable CGI pre-climax / climax portions were sortof a letdown.
