It is beyond words how bad this film is. It is one of the worst animated films I have ever seen. I watched this film just to see how bad it was. Oh believe me, they were right. The writers didn't even try to make a good film, excuse me, a film. It's like someone trying to paint a wall by throwing paint buckets at the wall, hoping that would work, instead of taking the time to open the paint buckets, think of a great design, and use brushes to paint the wall. Let's start off with the very few positives in this film. The soundtrack. The music is this movie was amazing. That's it in terms of positives.

There are so many negatives with this film that I might have missed some in this review. Don't worry. I think my review is convincing enough. Let the rant begin!

The plot and the story in this movie is beyond atrocious. It is so dreadful I can't even describe it. Norm wants to prevent people from tourist from moving to the Arctic to live there. That sentence alone doesn't make any sense because who want movie to the Arctic when they could live in the Bahamas where it is inhabitable. Norm decides to help the very guy, Mr. Green, who plans on destroying his home, so he can turn on him. Obviously this doesn't work. Mr. Green, despite seeing a video of ice collapsing and nearly destroying the home, still goes through with his nonsensical plan. How are the houses supposed to sustain themselves without a local power grid? When Mr. Green plan somehow succeeds and get's the 85% approval rating he needed to build the houses, he still does it illegally. Seriously? I don't think I need to go further how nonsensical the story and plot are. The characters were so stupid in this movie it is beyond comprehension. Why would Mr. Green want to build houses in the Arctic? In real life, if he went though with this, he would be mocked and his business would fail because no one would want to live in the arctic. Why would Vera work for Mr. Green knowing how stupid he is? Why would see film a commercial of a polar bear chasing after her instead of, you know, being terrified and running for her life? Not only that because the ice was collapsing, nearly killing her. She should have quit her job even before this film began. Norm, a polar bear who hunts and needs to eat, refuses to kill a seal, for a beyond stupid reason. He even stated he did this multiple times. How come he didn't die of starvation before this film began? How come he helped the very guy who wanted to destroy his home? Olympia, the smart girl in the film, was still dumb. Since she studied marking and business, how come she didn't know that building houses in the arctic would be a stupid idea? How come she helped Norm instead of being the "smart" girl and telling him his plan would fail? Even Jar Jar Binks would have know that, you know, the guy who gave Darth Sidious control of the senate and lead to the creation of the Galactic Empire. All thee characters in this film make Jar Jar Binks look like Albert Einstein. It get's even better. All these characters receive either no character development or forced character development.

Obviously there was absolutely no emotional connection to the characters whatsoever. Obviously because all the characters are beyond stupid. Why even bother to connect with the characters if everyone is an unrelatable moron.

Last but not least, the awful attempt at a political message. Coming from a liberal himself, I thought the political message was forced and incoherent. The writers were clearly trying to bash conservatives and big businesses in the worst way possible. Obviously they failed because their message didn't make sense. Was the message against humans causing global warming? Was the message to not destroy the arctic? Was it to take care of the environment? I don't know because the movie was so incomprehensible beyond belief. In the end, Norm of the Norm is obviously garbage and one of my least favorite films of all time. I'd rather spend an eternity of Jar Jar Binks annoying the heck out of me than watch a single second of this film again. This movie deserves nothing more than a 0/10.
