Review In A Nutshell:

Another year, another Liam Neeson action flick. The man is banking on the same type of roles since his breakout performance in Taken, back in 2008. Even if the actor has been drawn into the same role time after time, not all are as dull as I expected them to be; The Grey being the notable one. Every time I come into a new Liam Neeson action film, I hope that the material he is working with would be thrilling, smart, and most importantly entertaining. Non-Stop manages to be just that during the first half of the film with its story frequently leaving the audience in question; feeling unsure and constantly being contradicted by their own hypothesis. Then the film reaches to a point where exposition has given the audience enough to work with, leaving them with a rationale that is awfully contradicting and lazy. In regards to the acting in this film, these are possibly the worst roles that the cast has ever worked with in their entire careers; lacking depth and commitment from its actors, with Julianne Moore being the most disappointing, playing a role that is so useless and to have her, who is arguably one of the best actresses of our time, be in this type of role has left me with a feeling of such sadness and frustration. Non-Stop showed potentials in its beginnings but eventually it left us with something indolent and mind-numbing.
