Review of Non-Stop (2013) by Lombard C — 30 Apr 2015

NOTE: This review contains SPOILERS. It's incredible how, in the wake of the Scream franchise, movies -- and spec scripts -- have been reluctant to use the "it wasn't one but two villains all along" gimmick.

Then again, perhaps it is not so surprising, considering how Non-stop, in its decision to use that very gimmick, more or less destroys the credibility of everything that precedes its Third Act. Moral of the story: If you have a great idea for a movie, don't dare write the script until you've settled on an equally worthy and memorable final act.
