Nocturnal Animals does very well at telling it's story. How it mixes three story lines together, giving each a shining moment.
Jake Gyllenhaal absolutely is absolutely excellent in this film. He plays two characters that are similar, yet very different and both roles are amazing. Amy Adams was incredible as well, showing the contrast she can play. Michael Shannon was a standout, and absolutely nailed his role.
I'm happy to have seen this in theatres, though it's definitely not required. I'd recommend seeing whenever possible.
