A really bad beginning (I almost turned it off after ten minutes) turns into a really gripping story. There are two narratives running side by side and blend beautifully. All the actors are fantastic, but Michael Shannon was, again, a standout.
He is easily the best actor you'll see in anything he does! A really good ending twists all the emotions you've been feeling throughout, and I loved it. Don't stop watching before the ten minute mark.
