Review of Nocturnal Animals (2016) by Beavie — 23 Nov 2016

I expected a complicated and intriguing film. Unfortunately this is a dull strange thinly written tale of dual plotlines that don't connect very well. The lead characters don't have any emotional depth or real connections.

I love Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal but here they are lost without real characters to play. Adams is much better in "Arrival".
