In my opinion, though my parents would disagree vehemently, my childhood really sucked...hard....but after watching this movie, it puts things in a different perspective...and compared to these kids, I had a pretty darn nice childhood.
...the film is a bit dragging, but its magnificent and poetic, and poignant and so unbelievably depressing... I will never look at a suitcase in the same way ever again... it's shocking that this film was based on true events.
.. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good dose of reality.
