Review of Nobody Knows (2004) by Tedmund C — 17 Jul 2009
Definitely not a feel-good movie. While the mom is atypical, she does represent in many ways the Japanese ideal for femininity, and those ways of acting (and talking!) do get annoying. The purpose of watching the movie? I'm not sure.
.. it is well-done, and you do sympathize with the children. Perhaps it will inspire more people to adopt or be foster parents.
