Seriously solid action film. And despite some claims that it's a satire of the genre, that doesn't come through too much and certainly doesn't inhibit the viewer from enjoying it as a straight forward shootem'up.
At a time when people need escapist fare more than ever, Hollywood by and large seems only interested in preaching, condescending and scolding rather than allowing people to forget their troubles for 90 minutes.
"Nobody" is a truly welcome exception to this tone deaf, postmodernist trend. Let's hope it catches on. It would good if the Entertainment industry got back to the business of actually entertaining.
