Review of Noah (2015) by Tristan M — 28 Jan 2015
Now I'm not a religious person in any way, and I don't know how this story falls into the bible or how it really happens. But after the first couple of minute did this film it seems that it isn't how the story should go.
First thing I noticed, was that it didnt give enought info in the intro for me to really know what was going on, and there was giants made of rocks? Already confused. The movie felts long, drawn out, and is of course very unbelievable.
But they tell the story they set out to tell pretty well, and the acting, script, and cinematography are actually really good. But to me it dosent make sense, and isn't my type of film. I didn't have high expectations, but it was actually a decently well done movie, just not in anyway for me.
Has some plot holes, and is pretty dark in terms of subject matter. Ending is predictable, somehow the boat survives waves that should have easly crushed it, then it floats around until it finds land and saves everyone, except the huge army of people, and the angel/rock people that die and explode on they way back to heaven.
So ya well done, something critics would like, but mabey not most people in the audience.
