Review of Noah (2015) by Jeff B — 16 Oct 2015
The last time I saw Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly together was in the movie "The Beautiful Mind" which was an excellent film. They are both equally good in this film that fundamentalist Christians love to hate.
It's retelling of the Biblical story of Noah where he builds an ark to save the animals of the world from the great flood which kills all the humans in the world except for Noah and his family. It doesn't follow the Bible story exactly which is why it's disliked by fundamentalist Christians.
It's very dark and it portrays Noah as a brooding misanthrope who is despondent about how humans have ruined the world.
