Review of Noah (2015) by David P — 29 Feb 2016
Darren Aronofsky's Noah is a fantastic religious movie that is not even about religion. Russell Crowe, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly, and Emma Watson gives amazing performances in here which I'm glad that they partake in Aronofsky's project.
I have never heard of Ray Winstone before, but seeing him in this as the villain was really great and menacing that it got my eye on him. The effects look amazing and the way they out effects on the Fallen Angels and Earth from the Second Day was really impressive.
The battle scenes are great to watch, and it gives out an interesting story about how God creates the Earth and a short story about Adam and Eve. I remember that the story about Noah is kind of short and not long enough for a movie which Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel try to come up with an expanded one, and I thought they did a good job of what could've happen during the events.
The characters are memorable, especially the main character Noah himself. Noah is probably the best religion movie that I have seen and there's no other film that do it like this one.
