Despite a committed performance from Russel Crowe and the efforts of the rest of the cast and Darren Aronofski's fantastic direction, Noah is however bogged down by the supernatural elements and frantic pacing in the first half.
While it isn't a complete disaster, it is somewhat disappointing and gets tiresome after a while.
