An epic of a basic nature. a story of mankind, humanity and the associative value of understand the diversity of the stories origins, level of human understandings to changes to it through the ages. basically hitting the nail on the head for morals of today displayed in 'what not to do' effect along with the role model 'type' many of us grew up with through scripture and drawings.
I liked how the direction had brutal times of humanity and even more beastly portrayals of mankind in stride with the epic nature of the plot. the characteristic realism was there for the surrealism of the story.
