This isn't really a Van Damme movie, in that after his opening appearance for about 3 mins at the start (where he doesn't speak btw) he doesn't appear really again until around 10 from the end.
Its more of a Karate Kid kinda film, where the kid isn't trained by anyone but the ghost of Bruce Lee - that he imagines up!
The fight scenes with Van Damme at the end are the only redeeming features!
