Review of No One Lives (2013) by Michelle S — 06 May 2015
Apparently I have a weakness for cat and mouse movies. Luke Evans's character can only be described as a human version of Terminator. Luckily, everyone who he kills is extremely unlikeable so you get to sit back and watch an hour and a half of a guy tracking, trapping, torturing and killing people in creative ways without the added on guilt factor by the fact that you enjoy such gratuitous violence.
This is not as heavy or as good as I Saw The Devil (A perfect movie in my opinion), but it's entertaining *Cough* and sexy at times, none the less. Hey! I am non-blind, straight woman/human being (I'm pretty sure you need not be either straight or female to understand the appeal of Luke Evans).
. I am just as surprised as you by the fact that I found a naked man crawling out of another man's corpse whilst covered in blood to be somewhat sexy. But that Luke Evans is something special, I'll tell Ya.
If you're in the mood to watch something violent or entertaining but don't want to devote all of your brain power to follow the story, or are not in the mood for a rape/revenge flick (like I Spit on Your Grave/I Saw The Devil), then watch this!
