Review of No Man's Land (2001) by Simón R — 13 Jan 2007
This movie is so smart, showing the brutality of war between peolple who at the beginning were neighbors and mabye friends but then killl eachother for reasons they are not totally clear of. When the two man-characters at a point discover that, it gets really tuching.
My favorite scene is at the end when al the UN-troops and the media comes to the place where the bosnian man is helpless stuck on a mine. Knowing its impossible to save him the UN-soilders makes a fake rescue-operation just for the journalists and after they all have leaved, you get to see the poor man left alone lying on the landmine.
