This didn't impress me much at all, but it wasn't completely terrible either. The parts where it went into slo-mo irked me, as I really hate that as a style choice simply to add tension as it always seems pretentious to me , and the music swells made predicting the movie pretty easy.

I was also confused about what country they were in -- I thought it was Hong Kong or Japan from the quick view of the plane map, but since it borders on Vietnam (a couple of miles down river) it's either Laos or (more likely) Cambodia, but neither really makes any sense since they were clearly in the capital due to the US embassy, but neither's capital borders Vietnam -- Laos' Vientiane is close to Thailand.

I honestly found the scene throwing the girls to the next roof to be pretty bad -- the rebels have guns, why aren't they being shot? I don't buy they don't know people are there. So many times they should have just been dead but for the stupidity of the rebels.

Still, it was an OK suspense, and the acting was alright -- nice to see Wilson do OK in a non-comedic role. Maybe catch it on TV.
