Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Eva V — 09 Apr 2013
From beginning to end , No Country for Old Men keeps the audience in a state of prolonged suspense broken only by extreme and violence and delightfully dark humor. While Javier Bardem's haircut alone could have carried his character, his dedication to the role and sheer ability to creep people out shines through the darkness of this film and makes "Sugar" a disturbingly magnetic and strangely likeable character.
Great writing, a perfect setting, and outstanding performances make this movie stand out even among other Coen Brother classics.
