Review of No Country for Old Men (2007) by Xgary X — 14 Nov 2013
The story is about Llewelyn Moss played by Josh Brolin who upon discovering a bullet-strewn pickup truck surrounded by the corpses of dead bodyguards, has stumbled into the find of a lifetime where he discovers two million dollars in cash and a substantial load of heroin stashed in the back of the vehicle.
Now he must flee as a deadly assassin in the name of Anton played by Javier Bardem who determines the fate of his victims with the flip of a coin is out in pursuit of Llewelyn. Later, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell played by Tommy Lee Jones struggles to contain the rapidly escalating violence that seems to be consuming his once-peaceful Lone Star State town.
The Coen Brothers have pitched this movie well in all places and our three main actors do a finely great job especially from Javier Bardem who will later play another villain as Raoul Silva in Skyfall.
Now I understand why people like this movie so much and therefore, it deserves to be praised. No Country For Old Men gets a solid 8.25/10.
