Review of Ninotchka (1939) by Dave S — 24 Mar 2010
Charming as hell, and Garbo is great at keeping a straight face. It got me thinking, though - considering how much they overplay the whole "Garbo is cold and emotionless" angle, with a few minor script changes she could just as easily have been playing an alien robot rather than a Bolshevik.
